How Audio Critiques Work
Step 1: Order Audio Critique
Click below to get feedback on your tap routine. Add your dance information & questions at checkout.
We then email you a form to fill out where you upload your performance video.
The video can be from a competition or a rehearsal.
Step 2: Meghan Gives Feedback
After receiving your video, Meghan records her voice while watching your performance.
She pauses your video to give longer explanations & thoughts when needed.
The feedback lines up with your dance so there's no confusion.
Step 3: Get Your Audio Critique
In 3-5 business days, you will be emailed a video with Meghan's thoughts & impressions.
Generally, you will get 5-10 minutes of specific feedback. This is much more thorough than you typically get at a competition.

- Musicality: Do the rhythms & dynamics emphasize, compliment, and contrast appropriately with the music & story?
- Choice of Steps: Is there a good variety of steps & combinations throughout the piece? Do the steps appear too easy or too difficult for the dancers?
- Upper Body: Do the upper body, arm movements, and facial expressions of the dancers compliment the footwork & concept?
Concept & Originality
- Concept & Story: Does the choreography communicate an idea & emotion well? Does it make sense?
- Dynamics & Flow: Does the choreography have a variety of levels & energy? Does each part of the piece fit well with adjoining sections?
- Wow Moment(s): Does the piece have one or more memorable moments that will stick with the audience?

At your scheduled time, join Meghan on a video call to discuss your piece, ask questions & get ideas on how to improve the choreography.
Step 3: Post-call Follow-Up
After your Choreography Coaching Call, Meghan will send you a write-up of key points, takeaways, & any action steps discussed during your call.
